The Cannes Yachting Festival
True to its reputation as Europe’s leading in-water boat show, the Cannes Yachting Festival hosted, on its 41th anniversary, nearly 600 boats in the two ports of Cannes: the Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto.
Small and large yachts, sail boats, motorboats, monohulls, multihulls, toys, day boats, tenders, new boats and used yachts available for sale or lease… the Cannes Yachting Festival offered a wide variety of vessels ranging from 2,80 to 65 m.
The ‘land stands’ at the Cannes Yachting Festival were devoted to engine manufacturers, equipment manufacturers and service companies.
Cannes Yachting Festival. Even the name screams fun and makes us want to jump on the next plane over there! Cannes is, of course, world-renowned for Festival de Cannes, the prestigious annual film festival… but, honestly? We prefer the yachts.
The setting of this show is awesome. Crystal clear waters, beautiful Mediterranean weather, and a picturesque harbour surrounded by gorgeous, customised stands. Cannes is not far away from the Monaco Yacht Show, and, whilst just as spectacular and well-visited, is much more focused on the smaller segment of the market. But that doesn’t mean the show doesn’t boast some of the world’s most impressive superyachts!
Mostly consisting of contributors from France and Italy and displaying an abundance of in-water displayed boats, the Cannes Yachting Festival is one of our favourites.
