The latest news is that the show is planning on going ahead. The deadline for confirming whether the show will run or not is now 20 July, meanwhile hoping for the pandemic to decrease and the lockdown restrictions to ease. They are now planning a show on a reduced scale, still requiring large tents and space for social distancing. The MYS team has decided to offer exhibitors a lot of freedom in choosing which space they want and will respond to the individual needs of the exhibitor’s.
According to the MYS team, at this given time most of the 500 exhibitors still want to participate at the show.
The proposed event will employ the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness and be dedicated to supporting the speedy recovery of the industry post-COVID-19, providing an invaluable platform for designers, brokers, shipyards and other key players within the yachting industry to connect with their customers and share ideas in a safe environment. Exact health and sanitation measures needed at MYS will be announced in a few weeks time.
